Warranty Support


All equipment supplied by Medilink is covered by a one (1) year standard warranty. This will cover any equipment component failure (except in the case of abuse) and the associated costs of repair. Should it be deemed necessary an equivalent loan unit will be supplied for the duration of the repair.

Post Warranty Support Medilink's Technical department offers a variety of services to provide your organisation with dedicated support. This can be in the form of tailored contracts which would require “ON-SITE” discussions or standard contracts as listed below.

Full Maintenance Contract

  • Unlimited service calls.
  • 10 working hour response (4 hour for acute areas) from a engineer for calls placed between 9.00am - 5.00pm.
  • All parts (see terms and conditions for exclusions).
  • All labour costs.
  • All travel charges.
  • Selected software updates (when applicable).
  • 2 x Preventive Maintenance Visits.
  • Full telephone support.
  • Fixed costs for contract period.
  • Provision for loan unit supplied during repair.

Preventative Maintenance Contract This maintenance plan is designed for hospitals or institutions who consider their equipment usage to be low enough not to need the cover that Full or Emergency contract provides. This contract provides assurance from the supplier that the equipment is operating safely and according to specifications.

Two scheduled visits per year comprising :-
  • Equipment operational tests to manufacturers specification.
  • Patient safety testing to B55724/IIEC601.
  • Hardware and software diagnostic testing.
  • Preventive maintenance.
  • 15 working hour response for a skilled engineer to a call placed between 9.00am – 5.00pm.

Please Note: All parts used and labour provided to rectify any equipment malfunction will be invoiced at normal Medilink rates. Travel charges will also be invoiced separately.
